The DIF Hackathon 2024 is a key event for developers, builders, and innovators working on decentralized identity technologies. As part of this exciting event, we offer two sponsored challenges on Travel and Reusable Identity themes, with a total prize pool of $5,000.

Our challenges focus on practical applications of decentralized identity. For example, participants can explore how to streamline complex eKYC processes or design digital identity solutions that simplify the journey for individuals like expats moving to new countries, leveraging key parts of the Self-Sovereign Identity stack such as digital wallets and verifiable credentials.
